    lamb shank 16oz
    pinto bean 0.75 cup
    chick peas 0.75 cup
    tomato paste 0.5 can
    beaked potato 2 medium
    onion 1 medium
    turmeric 2 tbsp
    cinammon 1 tbsp
    salt 2 tbsp
    black pepper 0.5 tbsp
    water 7 cups


Simply add the ingredients to slow cooker, also add turmeric, cinammon, pepper and salt. pour the water in and let it cook for 6 to 7 hours or until the beans are soft (it is better to soak beans and peas in water the night before).
You can seperate the broth and enjoy it by adding small pieces of lavash or pita bread to it or serve it as a soup. Just mash the solid parts together and serve it with pita bread and raw onion if you like.

    Hi, Abgoosht typically has dried lemon which can be replaced by fresh lemon juice.

    It will be awesome in the slow cooker. You may also want to add a photo. This is a very yummy and hearty soup for colder months!

    I updated the recipe for you. You can definitly replace slowcooker with an ordinary pot and cook it on stove. You just need to reduce the time of cooking. But remember, cook it on medium-low heat.
