Introduction

Great served with our Chili Lime Tortilla Chips. Great served with our Chili Lime Tortilla Chips.

Ingredients

    • 1 15 oz. can black beans, drained and rinsed or 2 cups black beans cooked at home
    • 2 cups cooked fresh, frozen, or canned corn
    • 1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
    • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
    • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
    • black pepper to taste

Directions

1. Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend for about 20 seconds or until all ingredients are smooth.



2. If the dip is too thick, stir in two tablespoons of yogurt.



Serves 12.

    This was a little bland when I followed the recipe. I added garlic salt, onion powder and a few slices of canned jalapeno. YUMMYYYY!!!! I served it with tortilla chips. - 6/24/08

    I made this dip but tweaked it a bit. I did not have plain yogurt so I used sour cream and I added a few drops of chipolte sauce. It is good. - 6/29/08

    FABULOUS!
    for CBUFORD-may need to use cuisianart type instead of blender - also add more liquid/yogurt. I added the chile lime mixture from the tortilla chips (made more than required), and added more onion, hot pepper, etc until very spicy.
