Introduction

This is a good one to get somewhat healthy food into your kids! Minus the powder cheese (you could add real cheese to it instead) its pretty low-fat and has whole grain/protein. And it still looks like the box macaroni and cheese it is. Sometimes I add vegetables but my boys are picky and its better off putting it on the side. Ingredients

milk, skim, about 3/4 cup of milk depending if you like it runny or not can add or take away.
one stick of land O lakes light butter
2 boxes of 50% of whole grain Kraft macaroni and cheese
    2 boneless chicken breast
Mrs. Dash salt free garlic and herb seasoning

Directions

Make 2 boxes of macaroni and cheese either 50% whole grain or whole grain as instructed on box. While that being made cook 2 unfrozen chicken breast with the Mrs. Dash. Then either can shred the chicken breast after fully cook or cut up the chicken. I choose to shred in a magic bullet so its more hidden.

Mix fully made macaroni and cheese with chicken.

Add your favorite vegetable on the side or in it. And I serve myself 1 cup=1 serving.
