Introduction
This is a yummy snack that everyone will absolutely love! It is a clean recipe and can be served alone, with tea or along side a protein shake. Ingredients

-1 Apple, nice & juicy, peeled & grated
-Cinnamon, ground, to taste (1/2 to 1 tsp)
-Ginger Root, ground, to taste (about 1/4 tsp)
Directions
-Pop your slice of bread in the oven at around 200oF
-Peel and grate your apple. I recommend to eat the peel not to loose precious nutrients...
-In a non-stick pan, warm up the grated apple (you don't want to cook it). Add the ground cinnamon and ginger. Stir well together for a few minutes, until warmed through.
-Remove toasted bread from the oven.
-I like to spread one the following on the bread before I top with the warm apple mix, depending on my craving:
1 Tbsp Almond butter (you could also use PB)
1 oz soft Goat cheese
1 Tbsp Yogurt spread
-Top with warm apple mixture. You can also top with:
1 oz of grated cheese + pop back in the oven for a minute
Dried cranberries, raisins, pecans, almonds, etc.
Enjoy this versatile snack that is both healthy and oh so satisfying!!! I enjoy this with tea and feel very full afterwards and like I had the most decadent of desserts.
