Introduction
Just like the Old Spaghetti Factory without the wait. This is so easy that you can enjoy it at home any day of the week. It is a tad bit lighter, but still a treat. It is also super easy on your pocketbook. Just like the Old Spaghetti Factory without the wait. This is so easy that you can enjoy it at home any day of the week. Ingredients
-
1 lb. whole wheat spaghetti
1 stick of butter (use the real stuff)
4 oz. mizithra cheese, finely grated
Directions
Makes 8 - 1Cup Servings.
Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
While spaghetti is cooking melt a stick of butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Continue cooking butter over medium heat until it starts to turn golden brown. If you wish, you can skim the butter solids from the top. You will start to smell the "nutty" aroma of the browned butter. (Mmmm)
When the butter is browned and spaghetti is cooked; toss together and top with finely grated Mizithra Cheese.
Great served along the side of some steamed vegetables. Enjoy!!
