Ingredients
-
1 Tablespoon of Cumin
1 Tablespoon of Season Salt
4 1/2 Cups of Water
Directions
Use a large Deep Skillet with a Lid
Season Meat with 1 tb spoon of season salt, Brown Meat and Drain Meat in Skillet
(I do this by just cracking the lid and draining it into the sink.)
Add uncooked rice, water, kidney Beans, taco seasoning and 1 tb spoon of Cumin (You can add more if you want)
Cook on medium until liquid is dissolved down. (it should look the same when making rice by itself) This tends to take 40-45 minutes.
Turn off heat and leave the lid on so as to allow the rice to finish fluffing for about 15 minutes. Then garnish with cheese and serve.
