Number of Servings: 100

Ingredients

5 lbs ground beef 90% lean
    4 cups bulgur wheat
    4 tbsp dry mint flakes
    1 1/2 large sweet onions
    4 tsp ground black pepper
    3 tbsp salt

Directions

This will allow 100 small slices

1. Soak the bulgur wheat in cold water until soft (an hour or so)

2. Blend the onion with the spices

3. In a large bowl mix the wheat and the onion paste

4. Split the meat and spread in two 9x13 in cooking trays

5. Cook at 350 degrees until juices come out and drain.

6. Let it dry a little but not completely.

Slice the two trays with 50 slices each (5 x 10 with a sharp knife)

Serve with a slice of lime. This food tastes amazingly well with lime squeezed on it before you taste it.
