Introduction

Ingredients
-
3 large green bell peppers
1 lb lean ground turkey
3/4 cup Instant brown rice (uncooked)
1 large egg
1/3 cup Italian Style Bread Crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
pepper & garlic salt for taste
For the sauce I used:
1- 8oz can of tomato sauce
1-12oz can of tomato paste
water ( for desired sauce consistency)
Directions
Pre-heat oven 350
Take 3-4 large green peppers & remove tops & insides. I usually cut mine in half & stuff that way so the servings are smaller. (I only used 2.5 peppers for this recipe). Boil them for about 5 mins so they are soft.
While peppers are cooling Mix together turkey, egg, parm cheese, bread crumbs, instant rice, & seasonings. Place the peppers in baking dish (choose one deep enough that peppers arent too tall for). Take meat mixture & stuff into peppers.
Mix the tomato sauce & paste together, I add a little seasoning for flavor usually garlic powder, & a little water so its more sauce like & less paste like. Pour sauce mixture over peppers.
Place dish in oven for about 55-65 mins.
