Ingredients

    1/3 cup all purpose flour
    1/3 cup canola oil
    3 cups water
    1 16 0z package smoked sausage (chopped)
    1 12.5 oz can of chicken
    1 14 oz bag pre cooked shrimp
    3 cups sliced okra
    1 package frozen onion, pepper, celery mix
    1/2 tsp each of powdered garlic, red pepper, black pepper

Directions

8 Servings
Make the Roux - mix oil and flour together in medium heavy saucepan and cook on medium for 3-5 minutes stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and continue to stir 5-10 more minutes until dark reddish Brown Color. Set aside to cool

In Cockpot mix 3 cups water and roux. Add all additional ingrediants, except shrimp into crockpot and stir.

Cook on Low for 6-7 hours or high for 3 - 3 1/2 hours. Add Shrimp last 10 minutes of cooktime.

Serve over rice. (not included in calculations)
