Ingredients

    1.5 lbs ground beef
    1 red onion chopped
    1/2 bag frozen veg (or 2-3 cans veg)
    3 packs mccormicks brown gravy mix
    1 bag frozen mashed potatoes or about 3.5 cups fresh mash
    1/2 cup shredded cheese

Directions

Cook beef and onion in a non-stick pan until meat is browned. Season to taste.

Add veg and cook until heated through.

Add gravy mix and water to make a stew/chili consistency (remember gravy mix thickens as it simmers). Simmer for a few minutes and pour mixture into casserole dish.

Spread mash over top to form a pie lid and sprinkle the cheese evenly across the top.

Bake covered on 350f for about 15 mins, then remove lid and broil on low for a few minutes until cheese is golden and crispy.
