Introduction

The simple punjabi Chaach. Very good for summers, beats the heat and helps with digestion. This is a filling drink and avoids overeating when had with food. The simple punjabi Chaach. Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    Yoghurt
    Water
    Salt
    Cumin seeds

Directions

Dry roast cumin seeds until they crackle. Coarse grind them with Mortar and Pestal. (You may use 1/4 tsp pre made cumin powder for this)
Mix the ingredients in a blender and pour in a tall glass.

Use mint leaves for garnish!


Other variations include -

- spicing it with black pepper
- use rock salt instead
- add ginger, coriander and mint leaves. Muddle it and then strain the drink before serving
