Ingredients

    lentils, dry, 1 cup (remove)
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 2 plum tomato (remove)
    Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)
    *College Inn Chicken Broth - 99% Fat Free, 2.5 cup (remove)
    tsp thyme
    1/2 tsp turmeric
    1/2 tsp cumin
    1/2 tsp mrs dash lemon pepper
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 bay leaf
    1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce


Directions

Rinse lentils in strainer and add to pot.

Add all other ingredients to pot, bring to boil then simmer for as long as it takes for the lentils to reach the desired tenderness, adding water as necessary. About 45 minutes to 1 hour.
