Ingredients
-
1 cup chopped onion
48 oz. Pork Loin, back ribs or tenderloin
1 cup Famous Dave’s Rich & Sassy BBQ Sauce (or your favorite kind)
1 cup water
2 tbsp liquid smoke
Directions
Preheat oven to 250 degrees (on Bake).
1. Place boneless back ribs in a low baking dish (I use a glass baking pan). Pour approximately half to one cup of water over the ribs (there should be a small amount of standing water in the bottom of the dish).
2. Sprinkle the liquid smoke over the ribs and into the water (this is very strong, don't use too much unless you like it that way).
3. Cut half of an onion into strips or smaller pieces, place them on top of the ribs in the pan.
4. Cover pan with tinfoil and bake at 250 for 1 hour. Turn over, re-cover, and bake for 30 minutes.
5. Remove tinfoil and use turkey baster to remove excess fluid/liquid from the bottom of the pan.
5. Turn the temp up to 400 and cover the ribs with BBQ sauce. Bake for 15 -30 minutes (shorter time keeps the ribs from getting hard on the edges).
Serving Size: Makes 12 - 4 ounce servings
