Pound Cake Pound Cake
Number of Servings: 9

Ingredients

    1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
    1 cup of sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup of milk
    t teaspoon of vanilla
    1 3/4 cups flour
    1 heaping teaspoon baking powder

Directions

Cream butter and sugar together. Then add eggs, milk, and vanilla. Beat lightly and gradually add flour and baking powder. Pour into a greased 9-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.

* If using a dark nonstick pan, decrease bake time by about 5 minutes. WATCH carefully
