Introduction

I love apple butter but ended up coming up with this by accident trying to create my own applesauce. I have never looked at an apple butter recipe so I have no clue as to the methods used. Number of Servings: 48

Ingredients

    8 Apples
    3 Plums
    1/4 cup Brown Sugar
    1/2 cup Water
    1 tsp Pumpkin Pie spice
    1/2 cup chopped dates

Directions

1. Peal and core apples and plums and cut into 1/2 to 1 inch pieces and add to slow cooker
2. Add all remaining ingredients stir and set to low for 6-8 hours.
3. Let cool slightly and place in blender until desired consistency is reached.

Enjoy over crackers, toast or whatever you prefer =) Store in the fridge or freezer

Serving Size: Yeilds 3 cups with 48 1 tablespoon servings
