Ingredients

    14 oz Pasta (Barilla Pasta Plus or whole wheat pasta)
    1lb Extra lean ground turkey breast
    1 tbs Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    1 c chopped onions
    2 cloved garlic, minced
    1 can diced tomatoes
    2 cans tomato sauce
    1 tsp salt
    1 tbsp pepper
    1 tbsp oregano
    2 tbsp basil
    1 tsp thyme
    1 tbsp rosemary
    May substitue 2-3 tbsp italian seasoning for spices
    1.2 c grated parmesean cheese

Directions

Coat the bottom of a large skillet with olive oil. Combine turkey, onions, salt and pepper and add to skillet. Cook on med-high until meat is browned. Reduce heat to med and add garlic. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and all herbs and bring to a boil for 2-3 min. Reduce heat to low and simmer for at least 15 min. Meanwhile, boil pasta according to package directions. When pasta is done, toss with sauce. Garnish with parmesan.
