Ingredients
-
2 ounces lemon lime soda
2 T plan yogurt
25 grams fresh strawberries frozen ( 2-3 medium berries)
45 grams fresh peach frozen ( one half of a smal peach)
4 ounces of tea that has been frozen
Directions
I brew up a favorite tea and place it in my ice cube trays to use for my smoothie base. I actually use Good Earth White Vanilla Blend Tea. Be creative and use some of your favorite flavors. Measure the number of ounces it takes to fill your ice cube tray. divide the number of ounces used to fill your tray by number of cubes per tray and you'll have the number of cubes to give you the 4 ounces.
Place in your blender or bullet 4 ounces of the ice cube tea, add 2 ounces of the lemon lime soda.
Add 2 ounces of plain yogurt, and the frozen straberries and peachs. Pulse your blender or bullet to get the ice and frozen fruit to blend out smoothly.
This is a great way to save having to throw out fruit that's ripening faster than your going to be able to eat it. I package small amounts in snack size bags and mark the number of grams of each fruit.
What a Great summer cooler.
