Ingredients

    three cups of water
    one cup of granulated sugar
    one cup of lemon juice

Directions

bring 3 cups of water and one cup of sugar to a boil, after sugar completely dissolves remove from heat and add 1 cup lemon juice. stir well then pour into a freezer safe dish (glass or metal, plastic not recommended because of the hot liquid and freezing temperature). Cover with something (to prevent spilling) and put on a tray (another spilling precaution). Put in freezer, after about 2 hours stir again to prevent layering or uneven freezing. After another 3 or 4 hours, should be ready to serve. Makes kind-of a lemon sherbert, lemon ice type of slush.
