Introduction

This is a great substitute for fattening pecan pie. Can also be poured into a regular pie shell instead of the phyllo dough. This is a great substitute for fattening pecan pie. Can also be poured into a regular pie shell instead of the phyllo dough.

Ingredients

    3/4 c. egg substitute
    3/4 c. Splenda
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 T. I can't believe it's not butter spray
    3/4 c. sugar free syrup
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    16 pecan halves
    Mini phyllo cups

Directions

Preheat oven to 350º.
Beat eggs in large bowl until well blended and stir in Splenda®, salt, vanilla, butter, and syrup.
Mix in chopped pecans and pour the filling in the phyllo shells. Place a pecan half on each and bake for 25-30 minutes (until sides are set but middle is still a bit soft).
Cool to room termperature and serve.
Makes 16 mini phyllo pies.
