Introduction

A healthy smoothie, good for breakfast. A healthy smoothie, good for breakfast.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    2/3 c water
    1/3c juice (I use apple)
    1T ground flax seed
    4T silken tofu, soft
    1/2 banana, diced and frozen
    1/2c strawberries, sliced and frozen

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Note: This is just the basic recipe. I use 1 cup of fruit, in any combination, the bananas and strawberries are just a suggestion, as is the choice of juice. You can also substitute another form of sweetener for the juice, i.e. maple syrup or honey.
