Ingredients

1/2 lb Barilla piccolini pasta (made with veggies)
4 slices bacon, chopped and cooked crisp
4 oz Neufchatel cheese
3/4 c milk
1 c frozen peas
1/2 c parmesan cheese
garlic and onion powder to taste
Directions
Start water to boil pasta.
Chop and cook the bacon until crisp. Remove the bacon from the pan with a slotted spoon to drain on a paper towel. Reserve 1-2 tbsp of the drippings in the pan and remove the rest.
Drop the pasta into the boiling water. Cook 6-7 minutes.
Put the Neufchatel cheese, milk, parmesan cheese, peas, and garlic and onion powder into the pan with the drippings. Stir often. Cook until the Neufchatel cheese has melted. Add bacon back into the sauce, or you can reserve it to use as a topping instead.
Drain the pasta and add to the sauce. Serve immediately.
