    2 oranges (organic preferred)
    8 oz. sugar
    8 oz. almonds, ground
    5 large eggs
    2 Tsp orange liquor
    1 Tsp. baking soda
    1 pinch of salt


1. Boil oranges for 2 hrs (that seems long!!!) wedge, let cool and then puree.
2. Whip eggs and sugar till thick, fold orange puree, almonds, liquor and baking soda together.
3. Pour into a greased 8” round pan.
4. Bake at 400 for 45 minutes, till toothpick comes out clean.

Makes 4 2 inch pieces
