Ingredients

    1 lb ground turkey (99% fat free)
    64 oz chicken broth (organic, range free, low sodium, no MSG)
    2-lb bag baby carrots
    1 c lentils
    1 c medium barley (raw)
    4 c water
    1 T chicken bouillon granules
    dehydrated onion to taste
    ground cumin to taste
    ground oregano to taste
    basil to taste

Directions

1. Brown the ground turkey until cooked through.
2. Put cooked ground turkey in soup pot and add the remaining ingredients. Season as desired with the spices.
3. Bring to a boil, then simmer until carrots, lentils and barley are cooked (1-2 hours).
4. Divide into 10 portions.
