Introduction

A delicious spicy sweet chili that is HCG P2 Friendly (as long as you don't mind mixing onions and tomatoes). Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/2 large onion, diced
    2 cloves of garlic, minced
    1 lb ground chicken breast
    .5 tsp chipotle chile powder
    .5 tsp ancho chile powder
    .5 tsp ground cumin
    .5 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp paprkia
    1/4 tsp ground cloves
    1 package grape tomatoes
    1/2 cup low fat, low sodium chicken broth
    1 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
    Handfull cilantro

Directions

In a large stockpot on medium high heat, add ground chicken, onion and garlic and cook, breaking up chicken with a wooden spoon, until onion softens, 2-3 minutes

Add spices and cook until chicken is well browned, 5-7 minutes

Reduce heat to low and add cocoa powder and tomatoes and mash with wooden spoon to release juices

Add chicken broth and reduce heat to a low simmer for 30 minutes.

If desired, garnish with cilantro

Serving Size: Makes 4 servings with 4oz chicken each
