Introduction

One of my favorites from the local restaurant, but the lady who works there said it doesn't have a name. I could not find one made like this in the recipes, but it is very close to a regular California Roll. Ingredients

    1 sheet Roasted Nori
    2 TBSP Cream Cheese
1 Cucumber, Peeled and sliced into little slices (will explain)
    Crab meat
1/2 of the One Cup of cooked rice

Directions

1.) Prepare rice per instructions on container. (For this roll you will only use half of the prepared rice. So you can make another with the rest.) You will use the vinegar in the preparation of the rice. I included it in the original ingredient list for the nutrition value.
2.) Peel and slice your cucumber. Cut off the 4 sides of the cucumber leaving the seeds in a rectangular shape. Get rid of seeds. Cut the remaining cucumber in half and then slice each piece long ways 3 or 4 more times, so you end up with a few thin slices.
3.) Lay out Nori on a clean cutting board
4.) Scoop half of the prepared rice onto the sheet. Press and spread until it covers the entire sheet.
5.) Add the cucumber, crab and cream cheese
6.) Roll it up and squeeze it into a square shape using a bamboo roller. First in the middle, then sides, then middle again.
7.) Slice it into 6 pieces.
Serve with pickled ginger, soy sauce and wasabi.

I can eat one of these as dinner. It is more than enough to fill me up.
