Introduction

Quick and easy hot breakfast cherry cobbler. Quick and easy hot breakfast cherry cobbler.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 Cup Splenda
    1/2 Cup Splenda
    1 Can Red Tart Pitted Cherries
    1 Stick of Butter
    1 Cup of Self-Rising Flour*
    3/4 Cup Skim Milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put stick of butter in 9 by 12 pan or round glass casserole. Place in oven to melt. Blend milk, 1 cup of Splenda, and flour (*add 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt if not self-rising). Pour batter over melted butter. Do not stir, but spread batter evenly. Do not drain cherries, add juice to the top of the batter and distibute the cherries evenly across the batter. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of Splenda evenly across the top of the cherries. Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes.
