Ingredients
-
1 cup unpacked light brown sugar
1 package Pepperidge Farms puff pastry sheets, defrosted
8-9 small slightly green bananas
1 stick butter, softened
8 creme brulee-sized ramekins
Directions
Defrost puff pastry sheets on the counter for 20-30min
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Smear butter on the inside of each ramekin.
Add 2 tbsp brown sugar and shake to evenly coat the inside of each ramekin.
Slice each banana into 1/4" pieces with a slightly diagonal cut.
Layer the bananas, overlapping, in a circle on the bottom of the ramekin, and add 1-2 slices to cover the middle.
Trace the outside edge of one ramekin to cut out the puff pastry for each dessert (you'll get 4 rounds per sheet).
Place the puff pastry over the top of the ramekin and tuck in any edges.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25min.
Cool on wire racks for 5-10min.
Run knife along the edges to loosen tarte.
Invert onto a plate & serve with vanilla or pumpkin ice cream.
