A delicious comfort food! What makes this recipe a bit different is that it has more tomatoes than usual. The slightly-soupy character is much loved! Ingredients

    1 package Ground Turkey
    2 cans of beans (one kidney, one black)
    1 big onion, chopped
    1 big bell pepper, chopped
    2 cans diced tomatoes, unsalted
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 can tomato paste
    2 bay leaves
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tbsp brown sugar
    dash of cumin
    dash of salt (to taste)
    generous dashes of cayenne pepper
    some paprika
    any other fresh spices you like! (I used marjoram and oregano)

Directions

Brown turkey breast, add all to slow cooker. Cook 6-7 hours on low.
