    *one peeled and chopped butternut squash
    *3 minced cloves garlic
    *1/2 onion chopped
    *3 carrots chopped
    *1 can vegetable broth
    *1 cups of water
    *2Tbsp olive oil


*cook garlic and onion in oil
* add carrots and squash
*add broth and water
*season with salt, pepper, and sage
*stir and cover
*cook on low for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally
*puree and stir
* serve
