Ingredients

    2 apples
    1 Tbsp butter
    1/3 cup walnuts or pecans or almonds
    1/4 cup plane bread crumbs
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1 tsp lemon juice
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp nutmeg
    dough:
    2 cups bisquick mix
    3 oz cream cheese
    1/4 cup butter or margarine
    1/3 cup milk

Directions

In frying pan, melt 1 Tbsp butter over med hear: cook nuts and breadcrumbs for 3 min. Set aside. Peel and core apples, cut each into 1/2 inch think slices. In a bowl toss apples, nut breadcrumb mixture, 1/4 cup sugar, lemon juice and spices.
2. In large bowl, place Bisquick mix. Cut in 3 oz cream cheese and the butter until crumbly. Stir in the milk. Place dough on surface well sprinkled with Bisquick mix and kneed 8 to 10 times.
Roll dough into 12X8 rectangle. Place on cookie sheet. fill the center with apple mixture, make cuts along the sides and overlap over the apple mixture. Put any apple mixture left on top and bake at 425 for 12 to 15 min.
