Ingredients

    2 (15oz) cans Diced Tomatoes - Hunt's, No Salt Added
    1/2 cup Green Pepper
    1 cup Onions
    1 lb BEEF-Extra Lean Ground Beef 93% Wal-Mart
    2 T Minced Garlic
    1 t Pepper, black
    2 t Italian Seasoning
    2 T C&H Pure Cane Sugar
    5 oz Barilla Whole Grain Thin Spaghetti
    1 6 oz can Hunt's Tomato Paste (No Salt added)

Directions

Chop 1 small yellow onion and 1 small green pepper. Puree tomatoes. In separate skillet add onion add ground beef and 1 T minced garlic until meat is done. Add green pepper, onion, remaining garlic, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook on low for 1/2 hour. Add sugar cook an additional 1 hour stirring frequently. Meanwhile cook spaghetti noodles in a separate sauce pan. Bring water until a boil, add noodles, return to a boil and cook uncovered 6 minutes remove from heat drain and then add to spaghetti meat sauce. Makes 7 1 cup servings.
