Ingredients

    Onions, Carrots, Broth, Ginger, Whipping Cream, Cinnamon, Salt and Pepper

Tips

Cinnamon is optional. My boyfriend likes to add "hot" spices to it as well.


Directions

Add onions and 2 TB butter to stock pot. Cook until onions are soft and starting to brown. Add in Broth, Carrots, and ground Ginger. Bring to boil then simmer until carrots can be pierced with fork. Transfer to blender (in batches) or use a hand stick mixer to puree ingredients until smooth. Add Cream, Pepper, Salt, Cinnamon and bring to boil again to blend. Stir well and serve!
