Ingredients

    4 cups of green beans
    1 TBSP of unsalted butter
    1/2 cup sliced onions
    2 cups of chicken broth
    dash of ground black pepper

Directions

Place green beans, onions, and chicken broth in a pot with a TBSP of butter on top.

Bring to a boil, and reduce heat to a simmer, cover with lid. Check in about 15 minutes and cook until tender.


Add ground black pepper.

Makes 4 (1/2 cup servings).

    It says it makes 4 (1/2) cup servings and then at the bottom it says it makes 8 servings. Which is it? I look forward to making it tonight. - 12/2/08

    Very nice flavor. As I diet it becomes more important to get more flavor as things tend to be bland and I wish to change that. Thanks. - 2/12/08
