Introduction

Ingredients

    3 cups white long grain rice
    6 cups water
    1/2 can tomato sauce
    2 cubes Maggi Chicken bouillon
    2 packets sazon Goya seasoning
    1 packet hamon Goya seasoning
    3 tbsp. light olive oil
    2 tbsp. Sofrito (frozen dept)
    1 med. onion chopped
    2 tbsp. minced garlic
    1 bottle manzanilla spanish olives (drained)
    1 can vienna sausage (drained)


Directions

Heat light olive oil in a deep pot and sautee the following ingredients: Onion, garlic, Sofrito, chicken bouillon. (sautee for 5 min.) Add water, tomato sauce, sazon seasoning, hamon seasoning, spanish olives, and vienna sausage and bring to boil. Add rice and stir. Boil for 10 min. and stir. Lower temp and simmer for 60 min. stirring occasionally.

Serving Size: makes 10 3/4 cup servings
