Introduction

This is the best recipe for banana bread. This is the best recipe for banana bread.
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    1-2/3 cups flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 cup butter
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup honey
    2 tsp vanilla
    3/4 cup reduced fat sour cream
    1-1/2 cup mashed bananas (3 bananas)
    1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven 350*F.
Mix flour, soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a blender, combine remaining ingredients.
Combine flour and liquid mixtures and pour into loaf pan. Bake 1 hour.
Makes 2 small loaves.

    To answer the question about how to bake muffins I bake them at 400 or 425 degrees for 15 or 20 min. Hope that helps. - 7/16/09

    The muffin idea is great. The other day, I took a banana bread recipe, changed out the brown sugar for 1/3 cup molasses, and added walnuts instead of choc. chips. I will have to try this recipe though. It sounds really delicious. - 7/16/09
