Ingredients

    1.5 lbs of lean ground beef (I use 98% lean)
    1 large red onion
    1 large green bell pepper
    2 jalepeno peppers
    2 cloves minced garlic
    2 tbsp chili powder
    1 tbsp cayanne pepper
    1 tsp black pepper
    2 tbsp chipotle pepper hot sauce
    1 can Bush's chili beans (medium)
    1 can light red kidney beans
    2 cans dark red kidney beans
    2 cans diced tomatoes

Tips

Fresh garlic and peppers a difference!


Directions

Brown the beef and drain. Add 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped green pepper, 2 finely chopped jalepeno peppers, 2 cloves minced garlic, chili powder, and peppers. Mix well, and let cook on medium for 5 minutes. Add the can of V8, tomatoes, kidney beans, and chili beans. Cover with lid and let simmer on low for 45 minutes, stirring occassionally.

Serving Size: Makes 12, 1.5 cup servings...very filling!
