Introduction

turkey jerky turkey jerky
Number of Servings: 60

Ingredients

    2.5 lbs ground turkey
    1 cup soy sauce
    1 tbl spoon salt
    1 teaspoon pepper
    1/8 teaspoon sodium or potassium nitrate
    (in place of salt & nitrate use instacure #1 or Prague Powder)

Tips

2.5 lbs makes about 3/4 lbs of finished jerky.


Directions

marinate ingredients for no less than 24 hrs then use smoker, oven, or dehydrator to turn into jerky. Also will need either a "jerky gun" or use a rolling pin to make strips.
