Introduction

This is a my variation of Jamie Eason's chocolate protein bars. I like to bake them in muffin tins to make them easier to grab and go and I prefer to eat as grain free as possible unless I'm eating sprouted grains. I bake these about once a week and store them in the refrigerator, they do the trick if I need something a little sweet (you're not eating a brownie here folks, but close enough) This is a my variation of Jamie Eason's chocolate protein bars. Ingredients

    1 c. almond flour/meal
3 scoops of chocolate whey protein powder
1/2 c. stevia in the raw
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tbsp. cocoa powder
    1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. filtered water

Tips

The almond flour can hold a lot of moisture so make sure you store them in the fridge to keep. If you are feeling a little frisky put a dab of peanut butter in the muffin before you bake-yum!
