    1 c. oats
    1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 T. salt
    2 T. margarine
    2 c. boiling water

    1 T. yeast
    1/2 c. warm water

    5 c. flour


Combine first six ingredients. Combine yeast and warm water and add to rest. Add flour. Knead, let rise, form into two loaves, place in greased pans, rise again. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.

Serving Size: makes 2 loaves, 14 slices each
