Ingredients

    1/2 cup cucumber, peeled (I used an English Cucumber)
    1 cup small apple, core, peel, diced (green preferred)
    2-3 fresh basil leaves (I used fresh/frozen leaves)
    1 cup water, tap or filtered
    1/2 cup ice cubes

Tips

Fresh mint leaves can be substituted for basil in drink and to decorate top of glass.


Directions

If using an English Cucumber just peel and chop, scoop seeds out of a regular cucumber. Peel, core and chop a small apple. In a blender ADD: cucumber, apple, basil and 1 cup water. Puree until well blended. ADD about 1/2 cup ice cubes and crush until cubes are well blended. Pour into a glass and enjoy.

Serving Size: Makes 1 - 12 oz. serving
