Ingredients

2 pound brick Velveeta Light Cheese or 2 1 pound bricks
    2 pounds Leanest Ground Turkey
3 cans Chili Con Carne no Beans
    1 medium onion chopped
1/2 cup Jalapeno peppers sliced or diced
1 Tbsp Crushed Red Pepper (split)

Directions

This is a great appetizer for any party or family get together served with tortilla chips!!

1) In a 4 or 5 quart slow cooker on low setting, cube velveeta cheese into 2 inch cubes for better melting and add chili con carne.

2) While cheese is starting to melt, brown ground turkey with onion and 1/2 Tbsp of crushed red pepper. Drain well.

3)Add ground beef mixture to crock pot and let all ingredients melt together, stirring occasionally.

4) When all ingredients are melted together, add Jalapeno peppers and remainder of crushed red pepper. Add Jalapeno juice to taste and spiciness of your liking. If dip is thick add about 1 cup of non fat milk to thin out for smooth consistency.

Serve with Tortilla chips and enjoy! This is a spicy dip, so if you can't eat or don't care for spicy foods, I don't recommend eating it.

This is a family recipe that we have converted to be a little healthier for you. It is wonderful...if you don't like a lot of spice put the jalepano's in to taste instead of the full amount. - 12/25/07
