Ingredients

    2 teaspoons vegetable oil
    1/2 teaspoon ginger , minced
    1 tablespoon garlic , chopped
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1/2 cup water
    3/4 cup dark brown sugar

Tips

The traditional "PF Changs Recipe" calls for the chicken to be "breaded" in corn starch and then pan fired in 1 cup of oil. I have found the chicken to be just as goo cooking it without the breading and oil.


Directions


Sautee the ginger and garlic in vegetable oil. Add soy sauce, water and brown sugar. Set aside to cook/thicken. Brown chicken in a oiled (I use non-stick spray) pan. Once the chicken is cooked, add liquid "sauce" mixture. Allow to simmer for 15 minutes. Serve over rice.

Serving Size: Makes 4 1/2 servings (4 ounces of chicken each)
