Ingredients

    1 11.5 oz. or 12 oz. Bag of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
    2/3 of a Cup of Melted Butter or Margarine
    (Nutritional Values are from Imperial Margarine)
    2 Cups Lightly Packed Brown Sugar
    2 Large Eggs
    2 Tbsp. Hot Water
    1 Tbsp. Vanilla or Vanilla Extract
    2 and 2/3 Cups of Ordinary Flour
    1 tsp. Baking Powder
    1 tsp. Baking Soda
    1/4 tsp. Salt


Tips

If you like chocolate chip cookies with chopped walnuts, these can be added when you add the chips.


Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Combine by either stirring or mixing, the melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and hot water. Mix thouroughly. Gradually stir in flour, baking powder and soda and the salt. Combine into a good dough. Mix in entire bag of chocolate chips.

On an ungreased baking sheet, drop tablespoonful size pieces of the dough about 2 inches apart. Bake for about 9 minutes, until lightly browned.
