    *Italian Sausage, pork, 4 link, 4/lb (remove)
    1 clove garlic
    Basil, 1 tbsp (remove)
    1 tsp salt
    Canned Tomatoes, 2 cup (remove)
    Tomato Paste, 1.3 cup (remove)
    *Pasta, Lasagna Noodles, 6 oz (remove)
    Knudsen Lowfat Cottage Cheese 2% Milkfat Small Curd, 3 cup (remove)
    Parmesan Cheese, grated, .5 cup (remove)
    Parsley, dried, 2 tbsp (remove)
    Egg, fresh, 2 large (remove)
    Pepper, black, .16 tbsp (remove)
    Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk, 16 oz (remove)


Assemble early, refrigerate. Be sure to allow 15 minutes or longer in the oven when baking.


Brown meat slowly, spoon off excess fat.
Add basil, garlic, salt, tomatoes, and tomato paste. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes, stirring occassionally.
Cook noodles in large amount of boiling water until tender; drain; rinse..
Combine remaining ingredients, except Mozzarella cheese, separately. Place half of the noodles in 13x9x2 inch baking dish; spread with half the cottage cheese filling; add half the Mozzarella cheese and half the meat sauce. Repeat layers.
Bake at 375 about 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting in squares to let filling set.
