Introduction

Don't let the color scare you. This smoothie is sweet, creamy, and a nutritional powerhouse. I drink one before every run, and it really does keep me going mile after mile. Ingredients

    1 cup unsweetened Almond Milk
    1 cup baby spinach
2/3 of a medium banana, frozen
1/3 cup frozen blueberries (I like Wyman's Wild, they're more flavorful and smaller so they have more fiber)
    1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (use a no-sugar added variety)

Tips

This smoothie gets its milkshake-y texture from the frozen fruit -- using fresh fruit and ice just can't compare! If you keep your bananas until they're overripe, then wrap them in plastic and freeze them, you'll have a supply of smoothie-ready bananas ready to go!

Directions

Layer all the ingredients, in the order listed, in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy and enjoy!
