Ingredients

    1lb Fresh sprouts, timed, washed well
    1T olive oil
    3t garlic (approx 3 cloves)
    1/2t coarse salt
    1/4t ground black pepper
    1 sm/med red onion
    1/4c raisins
    3T balsamic vinegar
    3strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

Tips

*Bleu cheese or gorgonzola also makes a nice addition to this dish


Directions

Preheat oven to 375. Trim, wash, and cut sprouts in 1/2. Dice onion. In a large mixing bowl, combine sprouts, onion, olive oil, vinegar, garlic, S&P, and raisins. Place in pre-sprayed baking dish. Roast in oven for 30-45 min tossing once mid roast (sprouts should be starting to brown). Cook and crumble bacon while sprout are in the oven. Before serving toss bacon with roasted sprouts.
