Introduction

Ingredients

    1 tbsp olive oil
    4 large tomatoes (4 cups) chopped
    4 cloves of garlic
    1 tbsp of tomato paste
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp or more of red chili powder (kashmiri chili powder is what i use)
    1 cup of water

    Note: for the tomatoes you can use shred the tomatoes. Cut tomato in half and shred until you are left with just the skin/peel. Throw away the peel and use the shredded pulp.

Directions

In medium pot, add the olive oil and heat.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until mushy and slightly golden brown edges.

Add garlic. Stir.

Add salt and chili powder. Stir.

Add water, stir, and cook until reduced just a bit. The sauce should be thick.
