Introduction

This was adapted from the original recipe submitted by SparkPeople user KAMEL622. I just wanted to try a version with less sodium and carbs. I think its just as good! Ingredients

    4 skinless breasts (about 1.5 lbs total)
    1 can coke zero
    1 cup Heinz One Carb Reduced Sugar Tomato Ketchup

Directions

Put chicken in a non-stick skillet.
Pour ketchup and diet cola (any kind) over the top.
Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat cook for 45 minutes.
Uncover, turn up the heat and continue to cook until the sauce becomes thick and adheres to the chicken. Be sure to watch it during this last step.

    I'm going to try this with salsa instead of ketchup, see how it goes. Then top over rice and have cheese and tomatoes and other taco things to top it off. I'll let you know how it goes! - 8/2/11

    Incredible!
    This was so yummy! I was very hesitant in trying it at first, but put it in the crock pot for 8 hours on low and let it do it's work. It came out so good I will definitely be making this at least once a month! - 8/24/09

    Bad
    I was excited to try such an easy recipe with my favorite soda, but this was honestly the grossest thing I have cooked in a long time. I tried doctoring it up with garlic powder, onions, soy sauce, brown sugar, but nothing worked. Maybe because I used regular ketchup? Guess it just isn't for me. - 3/24/08
