Ingredients

    * Pillsbury Moist Supreme German Chocolate Cake Mix, dry, 12 serving
    * Semisweet chocolate, 1 cup chips (6 oz package)
    * Quaker Oates, 0.5 cup
    * Applesauce, sweetened, .5 cup
    * Egg, fresh, 2 medium

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine all ingredients; blend well. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart into ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 min or until set. cool 1 minute, remove from cookie sheets

    These were very good. I think next time I make them I will only add a quarter cup of applesauce instead of the half cup the recipe suggests. They tasted a little too applesaucy for me! Otherwise, they were wonderful! - 12/30/08
