Ingredients

1/2 cup whole pitted dates
2/3 cup whole hazelnuts
1 cup whole almonds (about 4 oz. by weight)
2 tbsp. whole coffee beans
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
1 tbsp. coconut flour
2-4 tbsp. canola or coconut oil
Tips
You can also replace 1/2 cup of the almonds with sunflower or pumpkin seeds
Directions
Grind the nuts together in a food processor. Remove and set aside.
Chop the dates in the processor.
Return the nuts to the processor, and add the coconut flour, cocoa powder, and coffee beans. Pulse until combined. Add 2-4 tbsp. of coconut or canola oil, as needed, to bring the mixture together.
Remove the mixture to a bowl and pack into 1-inch diameter balls.
Store in a tupperware container lined with wax paper.
Serving Size: Makes 16 balls.
